When he isn’t in our Brisbane HQ, Mining Skills Australia‘s Director, Andy Holder is traveling to mine site’s across the globe, enhancing proficiency training and programs.

Currently, Andy Holder is in Kazakhstan, working with KAZ Minerals, at the Aktogay Mine, before heading to Mongolia later this month.

He has spent 5 days with Technical Training Manager, Gary P. Shortland, creating pre and post application refresher training programs with measurable outcomes. These programs will be across the KAZ Minerals Hitachi EX5600 and EX3600 Electric Hydraulic Shovel Fleet.

This visit is prior to Mining Skills Australia Shovel Applications Specialist Andrew Payne, attending the site for 2 months, later this month.
