Outstanding Training Initiative Winner of 2022

Without a doubt, Mining Skills Australia’s passion and drive is to provide equal education opportunities for everyone.

This was the motivation (and still is) for developing animation to be used, within the Resource Industry training, as an alternative to the old ‘pen and paper / tick and flick’ approach.

This form of training is not inclusive for those with Language, Literacy or Numeracy difficulties (which is still, much of our workforce in Australia, but also providing supportive pathways for Indigenous Communities and more broadly, Globally).

From the beginnings of animation  , to now our incredible team developing augmentedreality, VirtualReality, Gamification and artificialintelligence along with consistent interactive training resource material, Mining Skills Australia has seen a huge positive response not only within the Resource and Mining Industry, but across multiple industries and purposes, enhancing the students learning and knowledge-based education experience.

With that,  was proudly presented the Resources Training Council‘s award for ‘Outstanding Training Initiative 2022’, on Monday 30/05/2022.

This is an exceptional honour, and affirmation, as an organisation, that our innovative training and resource services, products and ideas are moving into the future, in the right direction.

Graeme Bradshaw and Andy Holder, Directors of Mining Skills Australia would like to congratulate and thank the team behind MSA and their continued efforts for providing these training resources and continually innovating new and fresh ideas and opportunities, for those who also believe in the importance of equal education.

Mining Skills Australia would also like to thank our current and future clients, customer and supporters who share the same belief for their industries and organisations. Without your support and encouragement, MSA would not be as dynamic and strong as where they are today.

A huge appreciation to all those involved.  Thank you.

Special mention to Simon Krismer who was Highly Commended for ‘Outstanding Training Initiative’  excited to be working with you in the future and seeing MSA’s and your enthusiasms for education combined.  Well done.
