Course Requirements and Details
- Be 18 years or older
- Have sound language and literacy skills
- Have basic computer skills
- Hold a Statement of Attainment in RIISS00034 or its equivalent completed within the last 5 years
- Currently working in the mining industry.

- RIIGOV201E Comply with site work processes/procedures
- RIIWHS201E Work safely and follow WHS policies and procedures
- RIIERR205D Apply initial response First Aid
- RIIERR302E Respond to local emergencies and incidents
- RIICOM201E Communication in the workplace
- Multiple choice questions
- Short Answer questions
- Recognition of prior learning - evidence upload.

Mining Skills Australia has Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Policy and Procedure to ensure that an individual’s prior learning achieved through formal and informal training, work experience or other life experiences is appropriately recognised. This recognition may assist students to progress faster through a unit of competency or allow the student full credit.
