Clarifying the reimbursement details for the training department to ensure there are no delays in processing payroll.
1. Meals at the hotel/motel where you are staying. If the motel does not provide meals, you may claim expenses for food purchased elsewhere, excluding alcohol.
2. Fuel expenses if you have a hire car or if you are using your own vehicle, provided it has been pre-approved by Mining Skills.
3. Ubers and taxis are only claimable for airport-to-motel/hotel return and airport-to-inductions return unless other arrangements are pre-approved by Mining Skills.
4. Any induction you are required to attend (excludes online) to obtain site access that is not conducted on-site, such as Aveling, is payable at a standby rate of $45 per hour.
5. Laundry of work clothing when a laundry is not supplied by site.
6. Food expenses at airports on the way to or from training or on flights during travel to and from training jobs.
7. Parking of private vehicles at airports while on training jobs unless other arrangements are pre-approved by Mining Skills.
