The RIIRIS402E Carry out the risk management process is a nationally accredited unit that provides you with training in the skills and knowledge required to carry out risk management processes, including planning, identifying hazards and assessing risk, and developing and implementing risk controls.

Note: This course is delivered and assessed by your employer, as an approved third party, on behalf of Mining Skills Australia.

Entry Requirements
  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have sound language and literacy skills
  • Have basic computer skills
  • Currently working in the mining industry.

Mining Skills Australia has Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Policy and Procedure to ensure that an individual’s prior learning achieved through formal and informal training, work experience or other life experiences is appropriately recognised. This recognition may assist students to progress faster through a unit of competency or allow the student full credit.
