The G1, 2, 8 and 9 (Mining Supervisor + Risk Management) Course is a requirement for mining supervisors working in the Queensland mining industry and provides you with training in the skills and knowledge that will enable you to undertake the role and perform the duties and position requirements of a supervisor in the mining industry.
Includes applying and carrying out risk management processes, implementing risk controls, communication and conducting safety and health investigations.
Mining Skills Australia has Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Policy and Procedure to ensure that an individual’s prior learning achieved through formal and informal training, work experience or other life experiences is appropriately recognised. This recognition may assist students to progress faster through a unit of competency or allow the student full credit.
